So I was practicing & trying not to use flash, and I took some shots of Matt's stuff in his music room.
Matt's license plate his Uncle Greg made for the band members, hanging up on his wall. This is Matt's blues band. They started together in 2005, shortly before we got married. Andy left us for Japan, but then Spencer joined up. Matt & Eric (bass & vocals) have been friends since high school. They're on winter break right now, but if you want to hear some good blues sometime - check them out (and maybe I'll actually have found a sitter and be there too! *Laugh*)
"The Ones"
This is Matt's new band he's starting up with his friend Zeek - who has sat in as drummer at some "Bottle of Blues" shows. There's still going to be some blues in there (and now both bands are doing my favorite song, "Soulshine"!!!), but they'll be more rock. I've heard quite a few ZZ Top songs playing lately. :) So I'm ready for them to start playing out too.
